At Stump Grinding Solutions we have 2 different types of stump grinders.

One is a larger hydraulic stump grinder on tracks. This is big and powerful enough to take on any stump from your front garden, through to the roughest farm terrain.

The other is a self propelled handle bar stump grinder. This is powerful and yet at only 760mm wide it will easily fit through your garden gate.

Stump Grinding is a process of removing a stump.

A stump grinding machine has Tungsten Carbide teeth on a cutting wheel and the cutting wheel rotates to chip or shave the stump.

Although physically seeing the stump is needed to give an exact quote, often we are able to give an estimate over the phone.

The following information helps us to give an estimate.

We lay down ply to protect your lawn, use screens to stop wood chips flying around and most importantly, we always clean up after ourselves.

The mulch that's left over from the stump is left in a nice neat pile, perfect to be spread around the rest of your garden.
